What materials do you use to manufacture your fencing and gates?
We make all our security and pool fencing products from Australian made electroplated galvanised steel. Although we do not make timber gates, we can supply gate frames and posts to suit timber in fills. We can also supply aluminium slat panels and gates in a timber look or powder coated finish All our products are made to order at our Kelmscott factory so we can produce practical, great looking gates and fences for jobs of every size.

R & R fencing have more than 25 years of expertise and experience behind us. We care about what we do and our long standing reputation in industry and community is proof of this. We will not let you down.
Does R & R Fencing take on small jobs?
Absolutely. We will bring our expertise and personal service to any job, no matter how large or small.
Can I have my own design?
Absolutely. We specialise in custom design and manufacture.
I am installing a pool, when should I arrange a free quotation?
Ideally, contact us early in the construction phase so we can plan for any difficulties.
Does my pool gate have to open outwards away from the pool?
Yes it does. Australian Standards require all pool gates to open outwards away from the water and self-close within 3 seconds. The gate latch must be 1.5m above ground level.
Do you supply and install?
As WA’s leading manufacturer & supplier we supply to over 200 fencing companies across the state. We can arrange for one of our Recommended Installation Contractors to contact you for your installation needs. All of our Recommended Installation Contractors meet the R&R quality, pricing & service standards.
How long will powder coating last?
If you keep bore water, salt water and pool water off your steel fencing and wash it with soapy water from time to time, you will prolong the lifetime of your fencing. R & R fencing treat all our powder coated products with a highly protective corrosion resistant zinc phosphate bath to make the powder coating more adhesive and scratch and weather resistant. In our experience the finish should last 20 years subject to environment and maintenance.
Does R & R Fencing do commercial fencing and gates jobs?
We have over 25 years’ experience in developing secure fencing and gate solutions for small and large businesses. Our established relationships with local industry are built on our personalised customer service and our ability to provide top quality products. As efficient, agile fencing manufacturers we can meet tight deadlines and customise orders to fit the diverse needs of local industry.
Must I install the fencing before I fill my pool?
Yes this is a legal requirement. Your pool contractor will usually supply temporary fencing.
How high should I make my pool fence?
The minimum legal height for any pool fence is 1200mm from the ground with no more than 100mms gap below the fence. The standard 1.2 metre height is designed to protect children up to age five. Theoretically a higher fence will be safer, however older children may be able to scale a pool fence. We recommend pool safety education as an essential element in keeping everyone safe.
